Terms of sale

General conditions of sale for online purchases on the site

Site owner: FOB S.r.l.

It makes available the online purchase of all items through its website, of which it is the exclusive owner.

1) General notes

The present general conditions of sale ("General Conditions") are regulated by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005) and by the rules on electronic commerce (Legislative Decree no. 70/2003).

The Customer (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer") is invited to consult these General Conditions according to their preferred methods.

2) Offer to the public

The Products and the relative Prices presented on the Site constitute an offer to the public in accordance with the methods specified in the General Conditions and on the Site itself. The conditions of this offer apply exclusively to purchases made on the Site.

3) Prices

All prices include VAT.

Delivery costs (hereinafter "Delivery Costs") are charged to the Customer and adequately highlighted in the Purchase Order (hereinafter "Purchase Order").

The price shown on the site at the time of confirmation of dispatch is applied to the products, without any consideration of previous offers or any subsequent price changes.

4) Order

Purchase Orders must be made online through the order procedure (hereinafter "Order Procedure") on the Site.

In order to proceed with the conclusion of the Purchase Order, the Customer must provide the required personal data necessary to make the purchase.

The Customer successfully completes the Order Procedure if no error message appears on the Site.

The Purchase Agreement will be concluded upon receipt of the Order by the site owner.

In this case, the Order's receipt will be acknowledged by sending an order confirmation email (hereinafter "Order Confirmation") to the email address communicated by the Customer. This Confirmation will summarize the Products purchased, their Prices (including delivery costs), the address for delivery, the order number (hereinafter "Order Number") and the General Conditions and special ones applicable to the Order.

The Customer undertakes to verify the correctness of the data contained in the Order Confirmation and to communicate any corrections within 24 (twenty-four) hours of receipt of the same. Possible increase in expenses caused by errors in the data not reported promptly will be charged to the Customer.

The Order Number, generated by the automated system and communicated by email, must be used by the Customer in any communication with the site owner.

It is possible that some products' unavailability may occasionally occur, in which case, if the Products chosen by the Customer are not available, it will be promptly communicated to the Customer.

5) Delivery methods

The goods are delivered (hereinafter "Delivery Service") using specialized carriers (hereinafter "Carriers"), exclusively in the areas specified in the "Shipping and delivery" section. At the time of Delivery, the presence of the Customer is required to check that the packaging is intact and that the Products received correspond to what is stated in the Order. In the event of visible defects, such as incorrect quantities and/or incorrect Product and non-integrity of the packaging, the Customer must provide the relevant report on the transport document and contact the site owner by e-mail no later than 7 (seven ) days from Delivery.

6) Delivery costs

Delivery costs (hereinafter "Delivery Costs") are charged to the Customer and adequately highlighted in the Order.

7) Assistance services

The Customer can obtain information regarding the after-sales assistance services by accessing the "contacts" section of the Site or by e-mail.

8) Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal as required by current legislation is provided for the purchase of items online on the site. The deadline within which to exercise the right of withdrawal is 14 days, within which the Customer is required to communicate it by registered letter with return receipt to the address indicated at the top of the page in advance via e-mail.

The right of withdrawal is, however, subject to the following conditions:

• the law applies to individual Products purchased in their entirety;

• the Product / s purchased must be intact and returned in the original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and ancillary documentation);

• transport costs relating to the Return of the Product are charged to the Customer;

• the Return is under the full responsibility of the Customer;

• the deadline within which the refund will be made (14 calendar days). Remember that the seller must reimburse all payments received from the consumer, including any shipping costs of the goods incurred during the purchase.

If the right of withdrawal has been correctly exercised, the site owner will refund the customer the full amount already paid, including delivery costs, within 30 (thirty) calendar days from receipt of the notice of withdrawal. The refunded amount will be net of the expenses for the Return of the Products, which will be borne by the Customer.

9) Guarantees

a) Legal Guarantee for the Consumer

The Consumer, as defined in art. 3 of the Consumer Code (hereinafter, “Consumer Code”, Legislative Decree 6 September 2005, n. 206), has the right to avail itself of the legal guarantee provided for by the Consumer Code itself in articles 128 to 132.

This Guarantee provides, among other things, that the Consumer, under penalty of forfeiture, communicates to the owner of the site any lack of conformity found by the consumer in the product purchased within 2 (two) months of discovery (Article 132, Consumption).

Following this communication, the Consumer will have the right to request the repair or replacement of the Product, without prejudice to the other rights provided by law in favor of the Consumer.

The above legal guarantee is valid for a maximum period of 2 (two) years from the delivery of the product. After this deadline, the site owner will therefore not be responsible for any lack of conformity found by the consumer.

In the event of replacement or repair of the Product, the terms of the warranty relating to the Product given in replacement or resulting from the repair are the same as for the original product. Therefore, the total two-year duration of the legal guarantee will, in any case, start from the delivery of the original product.

In any case, for the regulation of the legal guarantee, reference is made to the Consumer Code rules referred to in Articles 128 and following.

b) Legal Guarantee for Non-consumer Customers

The Non-Consumer Customer, as defined in art. 3 of the Consumer Code, has the right to avail itself of the legal guarantee provided for in the Civil Code. This guarantee provides, among other things, that the Non-Consumer Customer, under penalty of forfeiture, communicates any lack of conformity found in the product purchased within 8 (eight) days of discovery. The above legal guarantee is valid for a maximum period of 12 (twelve) months from the Product's Delivery. Beyond this deadline, the site owner will not be held responsible for conformity defects found by the Non-Consumer Customer. In order to take advantage of the guarantee, we recommend that you show the purchase document.

10) Processing of personal data

Customer data is processed by the site owner in accordance with the provisions of the legislation on the protection of personal data, as specified in the information provided in the appropriate "Privacy Policy" section.

11) Communications

Any communication can be addressed to the owner of the site through a specific e-mail box.

12) Jurisdiction

Any disputes related to the interpretation or execution of this contract will be resolved exclusively by the competent Court, without prejudice to the application of the Consumer Code rules in the case of purchases by Consumers.


Delivery of products

The delivery of the purchased products takes place within the Italian National Territory. The products will be delivered by the Express Courier in charge or by someone on his behalf at the address indicated that cannot be changed once the order has been taken over.

Upon receipt, the Customer must check the package's integrity containing the purchased product; if any anomalies are found, these must be immediately reported to the Express Courier.

Delivery is made in 24/72 hours (72 hours for Calabria and the Major Islands).

The purchased products are delivered as quickly as possible, usually within 5/6 working days. The site owner undertakes to respect, as a maximum delivery time, a period not exceeding ten working days from the order, except in cases of force majeure.

In case of a delay of more than ten working days, the Customer will be contacted directly by e-mail to be informed and updated on the expected delivery date.


Below are the forms of payment accepted on the website

- Cash on delivery (cash payment on delivery directly to the Express Courier)

- Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro credit cards through Paypal

- Anticipated bank transfer

Cash on delivery payments

Cash on delivery means payment exclusively by cash directly to the Express Courier upon delivery of the goods. The Express Courier is authorized to accept only exact sums corresponding to the amount of the order. In case of high amounts, the right is reserved to request an advance of the amount by bank transfer as security.

Payments by bank transfer

By selecting this method, you will receive the bank details by e-mail at the purchase confirmation time.

Paying by bank transfer, the goods will be shipped only after verifying that the amount has been credited to our bank's current account.

However, it is recommended to send an accounting copy of the bank by e-mail in order to reserve the purchased goods in your name.

The reason to be reported on the bank transfer must indicate:

- The order number

- Name and Surname of the payer

The bank transfer must be made within 3 days from the date of purchase. If the payment is not received within 5 days from the order confirmation, the order will be considered automatically canceled.

Payments by credit card through Paypal

Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro credit cards are accepted.

This includes CartaSì, BancoPosta credit card, Postepay card, Aura card and all other credit cards bearing the Mastercard, Visa or American Express logo.

The credit card details are managed directly by the Bank.

Payments via PayPal

PayPal is an online payment system that provides for the opening of an account with PayPal.

By concluding a purchase with this type of payment, the PayPal site page will be displayed.

You will need to enter your e-mail address and password for your PayPal account.

After registration, you can make payments via PayPal without having to re-enter your data, even for subsequent purchases. In case of purchase through the PayPal payment method, at the end of the order, the Customer is directed to the PayPal login page.

The amount relating to the order is debited from the PayPal account at the time of order acquisition.

In case of cancellation of the order, both by the Customer and in case of rejection by the site owner, the amount will be refunded to the customer's PayPal account.

The cancellation of the order is possible until the order has not been processed. The order's status is clearly visible in the "My Purchases" area and cannot be canceled if the indication "Order processed" appears.

At no time during the purchase process, the site owner can know the customer's financial information. Since there is no data transmission, there is no possibility that this data will be intercepted.

No computer archive of the site owner contains or retains such data. For each transaction performed with the PayPal account, the Customer will receive a confirmation email directly from PayPal.

Information regarding payment with credit cards for those who do NOT have a Paypal account

Even if you do not have a Paypal account but have a credit card, it is still possible to pay through the Paypal site:

- select the "Paypal" payment method at the time of purchase

- select the link: "continue payment", which is located under the bold text: "Don't have a Paypal account?"

- on the next page, you can enter the data related to your credit card, thus completing the purchase procedure.

If you have difficulty placing your order online

If you have any difficulty ordering online, you can still order the goods you want by email:

send an email with the subject "material order" indicating in the email:

- article code

- desired quantity

- shipping address (name - surname - street - house number - city - province - post code)

- telephone number in case of future contact

- desired payment method

You will receive the order confirmation and any instructions on payment methods within a few hours.

Credit Card payments security

In case of payment by credit card or through Paypal, your card details are managed directly by the bank specialized in managing online payments. The information is encrypted using 128-bit encryption systems (SSL) that prevent its use by third parties and is sent directly to the bank.
